Introduction¶

MicroFLAP (Microlight Flight Log Analysis Program) is the on-line version of the classic desktop version.
 
The desktop version was used for the first time during the World Paramotor Championships 2003 in UK. Since then, it has been used in 12 FAI Category 1 international microlight and paramotor competitions and dozens of national events in different countries. The new online version accumulates the experience of 10 years of track analysis and simplifies its use.
 
You can use MicroFLAP in different ways:

• As an aviation enthusiast you can review the design of tasks and how pilots flew them during competitions.
• As a competitor you can review your tracks and those from your opponents.
• As a marshal in a competition you can upload the tracks obtained from flight loggers for immediate analysis.
• As a scorer in a competition you can check the details of every event resulting from the track analysis to calculate the scores.
• As a competition director you can
  • design tasks using the classic version of Microflap and uploading XCH files
  • or design tasks online
